The room you already paid for and can't use

You have a lanai or a pool deck out back, and between the mosquitoes, the sun and the leaves you end up sitting inside anyway. An enclosure is what turns that square footage into somewhere you actually go.

Do any of these sound familiar?

Why people finally call about this

It is almost never about the screen. It is about the six months of the year you lose.

Nobody goes out there after five

The mosquitoes take the patio at dusk, which is exactly the hour it finally cools off enough to sit outside.

The pool is more work than it is worth

Leaves, pollen and bugs all summer. You spend more time skimming than swimming.

There is a tear and it has been there a year

One panel went and now the whole thing feels pointless, so you stopped using it and stopped thinking about it.

What happens when you call

From the first message to the last check. No surprises, no upsells.

Homeowner sending a request from their phone 1

You tell us what's wrong

The water smells. The fence went down. Rain comes through the lanai screen. Whatever it is, in your own words — you don't need to know what to call it.

We come out and check it

If it's water, we test it at your sink and you keep the numbers. If it's outside, we measure. Either way you get the price in writing, on the spot.

Our work, done right

What's included in our service

We look at the frame before we quote anything, because that is what decides everything else. The aluminum usually outlives the screen by years, and half the calls we get need a rescreen, not a new cage. Either way the doors get hung so they close properly, which is the one thing people complain about a year later.

Screens are one of five things we do, and that is why we will tell you when new screen is not the answer. If a whole roof slope is dumping onto one edge of your cage because there is no gutter up there, we can put the gutter up instead of selling you screen that gets soaked again next storm.

We got our fence installed by them, Andri helped us through the whole process and we couldn't be happier. As well as the two techs who cane to install, were amazing and so friendly. Thanks so much for showing us how customers should be treated and given us guarantee. We are already recommending them to our friends and family.

I never write reviews but the service I received from Yezenia was top tier. She knocked my door and not only had a great personality but made me excited to buy gutters and a water system for my first new home. Angel was the technician and WOW he was very educated on the quality of water needed specifically for my county. Highly recommend.

Wonderful experience with Melanie. She did an at home test of the water and explained the system thoroughly. Then followed up with me constantly to make sure everything was clear. Engel, who installed the filter, was outstanding, constantly checking in to make sure that everything was working properly. Highly recommend this company.

I was looking for a solution to the hard water in my home and Sulfur smell that I was getting. I'm grateful for the knock at my door. Jaylene did a great job with her demonstration and explaining The differences in the water purified versus the non-purified. When Angel came to install he also was able to answer any questions as well. Everything was really quick and easy.

So glad that we made the time to have our water tested! Found out just how hard our water really was out here despite having a water softener. With this Crystalline system, our water tastes better, smells better, and doesn't leave our skin feeling so tight and dry. They came out to retest our water and went over everything with us again which was much appreciated as well.

We had solicitations from several water softener companies, however we felt most comfortable and impressed with the presentation from Crystalline. Everything was as promised. The water is now awesome… no more bottled water.

Prefer to talk it through?

A real person answers, not a call center. Our team picks up seven days a week, 10am to 8pm, usually in under five minutes.

Bronze screen door with lever handle and closer on a Central Florida enclosure

How to decide

Rescreen or replace? Look at the frame

The aluminum usually outlives the screen by years, and half the calls we get do not need a new cage at all. If the frame is sound we rescreen panel by panel and leave the structure alone, which costs a fraction of a replacement. That is a five minute look, not a phone guess, and we will tell you straight either way.

Going over the estimate with a homeowner in Central Florida

Straight talk on price

What does it cost?

A rescreen and a new enclosure are not close in price, and which one you need depends on the frame. Either way you get the number in writing before anything starts and it does not move afterward. Financing is available so it does not have to come out at once.

Local know-how

If rain runs through it, the screen is not the problem

This comes up constantly. Someone calls about the enclosure because water comes through the lanai screen in a hard rain, and assumes the screen failed. Usually the roof above has no gutter, so an entire slope is dumping onto one edge of the cage. New screen does nothing about that. We would rather put the gutter up than sell you a rescreen that gets soaked again next storm.

Plans & financing

Two ways to avoid the surprise bill

Every install already comes with warranties and a year of service you do not pay extra for. And when the number is bigger than the month allows, financing spreads it out.

Peace of mind. Built in.

Nothing here is an upsell. It is what comes with the job.

Good to know

Screen enclosure questions, answered

The things Central Florida homeowners ask us most about rescreening, cost and upkeep.

Our team answering the phone at the Crystalline office in Davenport

Do I need a whole new enclosure or just new screen?

Most of the time, just new screen. The aluminum frame usually outlasts the screen by years. We look at the frame first and tell you, because a rescreen costs a fraction of a new cage.

Are they really that hard to keep clean?

They need washing down once or twice a year, mostly for pollen in the spring. It is a hose and a soft brush, not a project. Anyone who tells you it is zero maintenance is not being straight with you.

How long does it take?

A rescreen is usually a day. A new enclosure depends on the size of the deck and on permitting.

Water comes through my screen when it rains hard. Can you fix that?

Probably, but often not with screen. If the roof above has no gutter, an entire slope is dumping onto one edge of the cage and new screen will not change that. We will look at both and tell you which one is actually the problem.

Do you serve my area?

Polk, Osceola, Orange and Lake County. If you are near the edge, just ask and we will tell you straight.

Do I need a permit for a new enclosure?

Usually yes. A pool enclosure is a structure, and counties here treat it that way. What we handle and what stays with you is stated on your estimate before work begins.

How long does screen last in the Florida sun?

Sun and pollen are what age it, not usually damage. It goes brittle and starts to sag long before it tears. If yours is loose to the touch, that is the sun, not something you did.

Will it make the pool area darker?

A little. Screen cuts some light and some heat, which is part of why people like it. Different mesh lets through different amounts, so ask us what the difference actually looks like before you decide.

What about pets and the screen?

Dogs and cats going through the lower panels is the most common damage there is. Ask us what your options are for the bottom section when we are out there.

How long does it take?

It depends on the size of the deck and on permitting, which is the part nobody controls. We will tell you the realistic window when we quote it, not the best case.
